Our Commission to PRAYER

Today’s Casual Talk is about Our Commission to PRAYER:

Prayer is an ultimate gift of communication and development of a personal relationship with our creator, GOD. He sent us a mediator and intercessor by way of HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.  HIS divine letter of LOVE insists that prayer is non-stop

(1 Thessalonians 5:17).

In prayer, there are strict guidelines, which we should follow: 

 

  1. It must be in the will of GOD.

  2. It must accompany belief & faith in GOD the Father, JESUS YESHUA MESSIAH CHRIST the son, & Holy Spirit.

  3. It must contain fervency, which means it should be with all sincerity of heart and zealousness. 

 

  1. It must be of effect, which means that we must believe that which we petition on the strength of the divine truth.

  2. Prayer is also effective when tied to HIS HOLY WORD, because it brings an expedition to the answer.

  3. Prayer must be consistent, and a persistence in all manners of our lives. 

  4. Prayer must always accompany thanksgiving & love for all. 

“And be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you” (Ephesians 4:32 KJV).

“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth”

(Revelation 3:15-16 KJV).

How do we know what the will of GOD is?

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers”

(3 John 1:2 KJV).

 

  1. Easy, we acknowledge HIM everywhere, in our vicissitudes in every way, witnessing of HIS GLORY with everyone.

  1. When we study HIS WORD, he approves us unto HIMSELF, directs our life’s journey.

  2. HE sets us on the GPS <Glorious Plan of Salvation>, navigating us through valleys of the shadow of death, beside still waters, raging seas, divers storms, heavy laden and/or burdened. 

 

  1. HE provides the essentials we need like food, shelter, and clothing and protects us as a shield and buckler from the flames of anguish, confrontation, confusion, delusion, and/or illusion, bondage (addictions, fear, sickness & disease, poverty, etc).

 

 

We will share more on this subject through Sunday June 29, 2014 via open thoughts and passages for effectual prayer.
