Even though this earthen life presents itself to us with a buffet of choices, it’s best to let the Most High prepare the table. Selah.

Thinking and Living Spiritually Mature: Love & Loss

“And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God” (Philippians 1:28).
Giving up on a loss cause doesn’t necessarily equate that one has given up on love. To be spiritually mature where love is of concern, one simply under and over stands the bigger picture…which is seeking the prize of a higher calling of God (love) thru Christ.

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” (Philippians 1:6).
Thinking & Living Spiritually Mature | Giving up on a loss in general or a lost cause versus Not giving up on someone or on love

We lose ourselves via experiences towards knowing more of God (love). In the process others give up on us, but it’s okay; looking that is, toward the better end of a thing. We grow in grace and away from unprofitable vices towards a greater fulfillment. If God is therefore willing for those things to be or to flourish, we must simply surrender them over to the Most High. If He wills it for us, then it’s not actually lost, just on hold, until he teaches us a better discipline surrounding it. use-hospitality-one-to-another-without-grudging
“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen” (2 Peter 3:18).
Have we ever been in an association, which we might have viewed as one-sided? Sure we have, our very existent relationship with the Most High is a nice example. Here, we are given chance, time and time after time in forgiveness and love; to either alter our behavior, emotions or surroundings towards better commune and/or to become more knowledgeable about our Father, His will, desire and purpose toward the good of all.16406722_407427572929159_4793869055363911852_n For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13)

Some of the Good We Work Towards:

  • Make changes in our vile body–modifications to our iniquities or grossly unfair and morally wrong positions
  • Perfection of our faith via sound doctrine–helps our disbelief or unbelief in the Sovereignty of the Most High
  • Advancement in growth as children of God, learning from and being dutiful towards those experiences as heirs and joint heirs with Christ
  • To awake us out of sleep (free us from death’s sting)
  • Justification via faith (made righteous via the removal of guilt as we grow to know and do better; becoming morally ethical)
  • To receive a crown of glory and eternal salvation

Sometimes there is much to gain via some loss. To lose oneself to love…is where LOVE is found (#GodisLove)
