Workmanship: Walk Ye In It

Posted on

Key Word Today is Potential.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

We rarely seek to know the potential FATHER already created deep within us.  What FATHER saw and sees in us has far greater promise of success than what or how other people have and do see us. People will not take chances on the greater within, if they cannot recognize it outwardly. Yet FATHER does just the opposite, HE works with what is in us and instructs as to how to make the most of time and chance given to all——Ecclesiastes 9:11. After all, HE put it there…

POTENTIAL: Is the inherent capacity or degree of futuristic success by change into futility.  It is a combination of immature resources already available but in need of growth and fine-combing.

In the world, people train other people via many avenues towards success for their own personal use. However, FATHER teaches and guides us on one avenue towards the best use to HIS GLORY with additional promise, promotion, security and provision.

People seek to examine and give us a job or career that will help benefit them, while FATHER gives us a vocation which will help benefit us –gifts make room.

If we don’t choose life; LIFE chooses us…

Let’s look at the potential FATHER placed in us from beginning to end:

From the beginning (womb); HE placed in us, all the body would need to maturate from reproductive cells, DNA or the like from HIS image–the way ABBA FATHER saw or imagined us.

Genesis 1:27-28 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.

Everything though created in plurality, was singular in potency, especially the language. We communicated with others and began to do what others were speaking to us rather than what FATHER proposed for us; therefore, change had to occur. That change was to confound the language to separate the good works from the bad works—Genesis 11:6-9. Not much has changed over both eras and errors through time. There are still bad people, energies and entities present, which try to persuade us to do bad things—Genesis 3:1-24.

Genesis 11:6 – And the LORD said, Behold, the people [is] one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

Moving forward into maturation: The beginning plight of Good vs. Evil [The keeper of sheep (Spirit) & a tiller of the ground (Flesh)—Abel & Cain]——Genesis 4:1-26.  This is representative of seeking first, the kingdom of God and having all things added unto us. Because Cain did not first consider FATHER, to give his very best, it showed disregard and was likewise disrespected or rather not received cheerfully. Abel cheerfully gave the first—best of his works of hand to FATHER and likewise was it received. Because Cain was overtaken in his emotions, he became angry and sinned, killing his brother. Perhaps his emotions were from the similar stirring of doubt, which the serpent used to beguile Eve early on. Perhaps he leaned towards his own understanding of giving rather than FATHER’s. Perhaps he wanted recognition and praise for less the efforts (i.e. glory). Whatever the case, it was not performed unto good works.

Everything is Purposed in Time

These type of acts have progressed over time and the fight continues today over what is inherently right and good as opposed to what is tangibly good or right. Some of us have missed the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus—Philippians 3:14 & 1 Timothy 6:14-16.

That high calling also known as vocation, is the potential God sees in us or rather placed there. It includes and is not limited to some of the following.

  • Blessings
  • Fruitfulness
  • Multiplicity
  • Replenishment

Blessings are gifts from above, which do not change, make us rich and add no sorrows. They are the attributes which have multiplicity because they keep giving. Fruitfulness is the basis for all our giving because our ground—the heart, is where FATHER prompts us to give cheerfully. It is through this giving that we are replenished or restored because we do so not as unto each other but as unto FATHER. When we like Abel do so inherently, via love and consideration to give our first and very best, FATHER is pleased. If we decide to be as Cain, we too experience fallen countenance and curses——Genesis 49:25-26; Deuteronomy 28; Joshua 8:34; Psalm 21:3; Proverbs 10:6 & 28:20; Malachi 2:2 and Ephesians 1:3.

FRUITOFTHESPIRIT3

FATHER gave us specifics on how and where both the blessings or curses will arrive for us detail in Deuteronomy Chapter 28.  Some of these include our location or domicile; our businesses; our bodies; when traveling; with our properties or possession’s, and even with our finances.

More people today misinterpret blessings as being only tangible as seen with finances, business, travel or the like, which are mostly affixed to money. FATHER is not opposed to us having or spending money or having niceties, but HE is very resolute as to how they occur and are appropriated; that is, via hearing and obedience.

Deuteronomy 28:1-2 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.

Because we (man) can be enticed by distracting and negating entities or energy (serpent, devil, others, lack of understanding, emotions, fear, doubt, or the like); HE knew we needed a helper (redeeming)—Genesis 2:18. So HE manifest himself here as Jesus Christ, the one man to whom we can access FATHER through, to teach us observance of fruitfulness of the law and potential HE sees for us—our first state. We listened for a while but backslid, so HE died to be a replacement for our sins and came back to life by resurrection in the Spirit, to guide us into all truth.

LIFE shows us the way to walk in it

This truth reveals God’s potential for our life success. It shows us our strengths as well as our weaknesses. This truth propitiated FATHER’s favor on us through grace by faith and of an extension of mercy towards us. This truth saves us from undue and unnecessary burdens, which we may experience or bear.

Acts 15:28-29 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

This truth mediates for and liberates us from the accuser, who daily presents our faults, frailty, sins, and/or other shortcomings before the heavenly courts. This truth wrote the vision, makes it plain for an appointed time; although sometimes tarried or slowed via our trials by faith, towards completion——Hebrews 12:2; Leviticus 23:15; Colossians 2:10; Colossians 4:12; Philippians 1:5-7; Jeremiah 29:11; Exodus 18:23; Matthew 7:29 and chapter 24 and Revelation 1; Daniel 12; Isaiah 46:10 & 57:15; Mark 1:22-27; Proverbs 29:2; John 5:27 & 14:26 and Luke 4:36, 9:1 & 20:2-8.

Titus 3:1-3 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

do-better
“Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin” (James 4:17)

Now when that this truth is known, we possess the capacity (potential) to do better with what is in us towards its greater, in accordance to FATHER’s will, purpose and pleasure, thus reaping an abundance (greater power and authority), which no one other than FATHER is able to multiply——1 John 3:20 & 4:4; Job 33:12; Exodus 18:11; John 1:50, 5:20-36; 14:12 & 15:16; James 4:17; Jeremiah 1:5; Psalm 8:1-9; Romans 8:38-39 & 13:1; Hebrews 6:5; Colossians 1:16 & 2:15; Ephesians 3:10 & 6:12; 1 Peter 3:22 and Titus 3:1-3.

Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

The next time someone else other than FATHER via the Holy Spirit, points out what they believe to be our potential worth and commitment towards the good work of our hands, we should remember the following:

  • We were fashioned fearfully, wonderfully, with God potential and purposed to do greater works
  • We are blessed, anointed, or ordained by the POWER of powers that be to do of HIS will and pleasure, achieved by faith, which comes from hearing and obeying FATHER’s voice
  • We can do all things through Christ, which strengthens us to endure, persevere, and to be spirit led
  • We are faithful over the few, to become ruler over much greater via understanding of the Holy One
  • We are redeemed of the Lord and saying so
  • We are pressing toward to the mark for the prize of the high calling of God through Christ
  • We are of a royal priesthood because HE is KING of kings and we can because HE does all things to HIS glory

power-that-works-in-usNo greater love is there that we have than the love of God because that love saw it a good thing:

  • to show us grace and mercy
  • died to save us from sin and death
  • rose again and chose to dwell in us in spirit
  • is guiding us through this earthen life on our way going back home

The same LOVE (YAH GOD), who is the WORD from the beginning is sovereign, just, faithful, true. and was past (Alpha—Beginning, is omnipresent now—Spirit and will be in future—Ending, i.e. soon coming King. We just need to remain thankful, prayerful, alert and patient, trusting in and looking to the blessed hope.
