James 1 KJV – James, a servant of God and of the Lord – Bible Gateway
James 1King James Version (KJV)
1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Galatians 6:7-8King James Version (KJV)
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

ACCOUNTABILITY
accountability
ACCOUNTABIL’ITY, n.1. The state of being liable to answer for one’s conduct; liability to give account, and to receive reward or punishment for actions.
The awful idea of accountability.
2. Liability to the payment of money or of damages; responsibility for a trust.
accountable
ACCOUNT’ABLE, a.1. Liable to be called to account; answerable to a superior.
Every man is accountable to God for his conduct.
2. Subject to pay, or make good, in case of loss. A sheriff is accountable, as bailiff and receiver of goods.
Accountable for, that may be explained. Not elegant.

Hebrews 12:22-24
22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.
Isaiah 14:7
7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
Jeremiah 50:18
18 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.
Galatians 4:26
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Daniel 5:25-28
25 And this is the writing that was written, Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin. 26 This is the interpretation of the thing: Mene; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. 27 Tekel; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. 28 Peres; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.
Daniel 4:34-35
34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: 35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

My dear FATHER in Heaven, I’m a sinner saved by the sufficiency of your grace. I come to you emptying myself of unrighteousness and anything unclear, unclean and unknown to me that is not of you. I come confessing and asking forgiveness of my sins. I come giving thanks and praise in and for all things to your glory. I ask to know, be and do better as a parent, spouse, child, sibling, loved one, employee, employer, companion, friend, and/or family member via your everlasting love and mercy. I ask for the continuing wisdom in “understanding”, knowledge of the importance of redeeming the time, allotted us via YOU. Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

FATHER, May we remember that Jesus the anointed Christ, the WORD made manifest in the flesh, was given that we be vindicated of our sins, via propitiation—blood reconciliation unto you for a season, time and purpose under the heaven. May we never forget that time and chance happens to us all. FATHER of the 613,200 hours you’ve so graciously given us, let us learn to utilize this time in WISDOM, towards the completed work of our salvation. We ask that you enlarge our holy grounds as you increase your abundant blessings of life, love… keep us far from harm of daily arrows and nightly terror set as snares to entangle us in confusing states of mind (spiritual wounds), this we pray in JESUS the anointed Christ’s name, with advanced hallelujah thanks. AMEN.
“Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth, shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19).

There are 365 days ahead of us with tomorrow being the first blank page of twelve new chapters of our lives. May we write a good one via the authority of the Most High….May we be conscious of our surroundings: physically, empirically, emotionally and adept in discerning the ethereal elements present in this world.
May we love harder (deeper & with authenticity). May we unravel ourselves from anything set to deteriorate or lead us towards atrophy. May we renew ourselves in strength of JOY thru new mercies and daily loaded benefits. May we clothe ourselves in righteousness, arm ourselves in protection and position ourselves in God’s guidance; showing us the way of this tree of life, we have been given, whereby we are the chosen branches.
