It is a good thing to pray subjective prayers from our own secret prayer closet to ensure the open reward in expedient answers. Moreover, it is even blessed to do so as well because it is personal, from the heart, and between you and the Lord. Nevertheless, God wants that we confess our faults to each other and pray for one another as well and these too can be received in the same manner as long as they are prayers according to His Word and will, not puffed up, or done in vain. James 5:16 | 1 John 5:14
Some frown on group prayer from a misunderstanding of scripture(s) like Matthew 6:5-16 or Luke 12 believing it all to be in hypocrisy. That is far from the truth when we seek the Lord on our life of prayer, this actually points to an appearance or facade of prayer and fasting as in pretense for vainglory of some sort. 2 Timothy 3:5 | Titus 1:15-16 | Matthew 7:21-23 & 12:36-37 |
A deeper look into Joel 1:14-16 on fasting and prayer.
Here the key word in the gathering or assembly is SOLEMN, עֲצָרָ֔ה that is to say sacred or secret’ meetings of which Isaiah 1:13 speaks against vainness in doing so. | H 6116 atsarah or atsereth: an assembly | –This was appropriate prior to the new covenant and is noted in Leviticus 23:36. It states, “Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein”.
“Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry unto the Lord, Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God (Joel 1:14-16 KJV)?
His WORD tells us that where there are more than one gathered in His name, he is amidst; that if any two shall ask anything as in touching in accord (faith), that thing (petition) will He do; He also says whatsoever thing we ask in Jesus’ name, believing, we receive. Matthew 17:21;18:19-20 & 21:22 | John 14:13 | Mark 11:24 | John 14:13 & 16:24
Our prayers should always include foremost belief (unfeigned faith), gratitude, repentance –2 Chronicles 7:14, and concerns for others such as the fatherless (orphans), widow(s); homeless; poor; needy; and/or bound/imprisoned. In fact, He said that true and undefiled religion is to visit them. Colossians 3:17-24
Next, after your prayers or petitions have gone up, try sealing it by faith in the name, blood and Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ Yahshua Messiah because you know His WORD is bond and He will perform it as it too is written in Matthew 5:18 that “Every WORD of His will be performed” (para KJV).
It is also a very good practice to study His Word “daily bread” in order to know how to utilize a righteous (spiritual) prayer life. Remember God is a spirit and as worshipers, we should know that he communicates spiritually.
Subsequently, we know that “the effectual and fervent prayers of the righteous avail much” (James 5:16). We have it on the authority of His Word, “that none are righteous, and that our righteousness is of Christ Jesus” (Romans 1:17 & 3:9-20 | 1 Corinthians 1:30-31 | Jeremiah 33:16 | Philippians 3:9 & Isaiah 64:6). This is why we need to know and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ (our Messiah & Savior) via whom we have access to the Holy Spirit and Comforter.
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you” (John 14:26 KJV).
It is important to note that “In heaven, there are three that bear record of us, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” (1 John 5:7).
God wants us to know Him as He knows us…His sheep know His voice – John 10:27-29 | Faith pleases Him – Hebrews 11:6 | We increase faith by patience-working trials – Romans 5:1-21 & James 1:3-4 | and hearing from the Word of God – Romans 10:17.
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” (Hebrews 4:12-13 KJV)
Any prayer absent faith, repentance, and/or conversion from unrighteousness or transgression of the law is considerably an abomination. With this is mind may we remember to lay not away our confidence; by believing first who God is in our lives and upon the grace given us towards eternal life and in the unquestionable gospel of Jesus Christ as our mediator (intercessor).
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind blows where it lists, and thou hears the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it comes, and whither it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit” (John 3:3-8).
It is careful to note that a baptism of water and spirit is significant with being filled with the holy ghost fire, that is to say ready (feet shod) to proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord, refined or perfected thru Christ. Although some may feel there is and/or are other ways to the Kingdom of God (heaven/salvation); God’s word is impeccable that there is but one door, the strait gate, and all who try coming to Him any other way, are considerably robbers and thieves –John 10:1-8 & 14:6 | Matthew 7:13-14.
Satan was a liar, thief, and murderer from the beginning and anyone claiming to be without sin is a liar with no truth in them and considerably children of their father the devil. Romans 3:4 & John 8:44

Steps to Salvation

- Believe in and Acknowledge God in all things, obeying His Word
- Believe on the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ
- Repent for the remission of our sins
- Be baptized of the water and of the spirit in Jesus Christ name
Prayer of Salvation
Heavenly Father, I believe in and acknowledge Yah God in all things, I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died, was buried and rose again, resurrected from the dead to become the propitiation for my sins, Heavenly Father baptize me in your living water for which I am athirst, purge and cleanse me through your Holy Spirit. Commentary OVERVIEW for the week of Friday June 26, 2015 thru Thursday July 2, 2015:
- This week we take an in-depth look into how we respond to the report of the Lord. We have explored some passages, which shed light on how subtle and frustrating this type interference (frequency) via access can be harmful to our prayer life (relationship) and Living In Faith Everyday (l.i.f.e) in general.

Spiritual Diet: The Bread … (Manna)
Introductory Scripture ~ Matthew 5:37 OUR YEA & NAY
Sometimes and more often, we blame everything on the devil, but never take accountability that some evil things originate from us or rather those continual evil thoughts written about in Gen 6:5. Subsequently these same evils nearly halted our existence Gen 6:6.
“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually”
(Genesis 6:5 KJV)
We chose this or these precept(s), to talk about the Yea (Yes) & Nay (No).
*Special Note–> It is always the Holy Spirit, which guides us into all truths. The more we seek HIS face, the more we realize how free we are to a more deepened truth and/or revelation of TRUTH (HE CHANGES NOT). ….Let’s Seek the Lord on it.

Why do we suppose we are instructed to let our yea (yeses) and nay’s (no’s) be precisely so?
We pondered on this for a minute and as always in seeking the Lord on it, We found it is because our word is incompatible to the WORD of God.
- Our word = Changes via condition(s).
- God’s WORD = Changes not. It is quick, powerful, sharper, piercing, dividing, discerning, pure, unchanged, inerrant, living, and moving. The scriptures describe HIS WORD as silver tried, as if fires, and/or breaking, like that of a hammer.

Could it be that from the abundance of our hearts, the mouth speaks?
We have heard the idiom, “We are what we eat” and in further exploration of these precepts, it is not far-fetched, when digging deeper. We are told that as man upon improving our spiritual diet, we are to live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (His Heart on the matter(s) of l.i.f.e. or Living In Faith Everyday). We hear from HIM only via HIS WORD by unfeigned, working faith. That is strong confidence and trust in the power and person of God. The same God (WORD), which formed not only the world indwelled or inhabited today but our hearts, minds, and souls.
How can we be sure?
Simply understanding that God is spirit and the spirit is the sole communication we have with HIM. John 4:23-24

Look through as many versions of HIS word over centuries of canons and/or commentary and see how even though man’s wording fluctuates per culture, nationality, or the like GOD is the same. The names may vary but the omnipotence omniscience and omnipresence, the same.
Ever noticed how our speech is often tied to our emotions?
It is somewhat antipathetic, especially when that emotion is tied to hurt, pain, anger, or melancholy. It accesses not only our speech, but in most cases, it offends our innate spiritual state or behavior.
We guess this too is why the Holy Spirit instructs us to flee from the sin of worry – Phil 4:6. There are those who would negate this “worry” as sin, so let us look at this definition closer…

Okay, great! Now the Holy Spirit tells us throughout the passages of just how harmful it is to waddle in worry and warns us against fretfulness of evil doers. Aha… that word again “evil” doers (children of Satan or the devil) whether actual or by adoption via flesh or worldly lusts.
Subsequently, there are those who as described earlier, which continue to do and/or think evil, despite the good perhaps within them. It is often of their free will although both corporeal and ethereal repercussions await him/her. – Isaiah 5:20-21 & 10:1
We are not implying that all choose to do evil but we are saying that we have access to POWER of resistance in certain choices.
Yet, the devil or Satan has a commission in adversity on earth as well and that is to taunt us with worry, regret, accusations, more…
Example of Spirit versus Flesh:
Dating one another today seems quite abnormal to how God saw fit for it to be such as a man and woman’s courtship. Today we see two people with entirely different aspects on relationships attempting to co-exist. One seeks love and commitment while the other seeks short-lived unfulfilled lusts of the eyes and the flesh.
Sounds familiar huh?
Without getting off subject of our Nay and Yea, would you say that Eve when beguiled or influenced by the serpent disguised Satan, allowed her yea via God to be yea? Or Did she via access by way of flattery, charm, seduction or captivation of words, succumb to mesmerizing evil of Satan’s refuting Nay to God’s instructions?
Had she kept the yea’ of her husband and of the LORD, the world may not even be in the pickle it is in today.
BUT GOD! HALLELUJAH?
The Leviathan (serpent) too has an expected end. Isaiah 27:1
When we negate God’s Yea & Amen (yes and so be it); we are accessing a rebellious state of being and refuting the good, by entertaining evil via similar seducing spirits. We are thus become as fallen angels (spirits); some of which are the ones we are instructed to be careful when entertaining unawares. Heb 13:2 The others are not dead (sinful) and there to assist us in cease and desist of the nay of the fallen (negation, refusal, denial or disagreement, to God’s WORD and/or VOICE). Remember to be dead to sin is to be quickened and alive with the Lord because the wages of sin is death, while the gift of God (salvation—freedom) is life eternal. Rom 6:23

Moreover, prayer is not just us asking God for things. It is our connection line and communication source to that POWER. Through prayer we are inspired, guided, instructed, spoken to and of, heard, helped, and/or healed.

The trumpets have long since begun to sound as well a call of duty which went forth for formation to take place for that great day of reckoning. Perilous times have thus long since begun and the Most High will come to the aid of his people in rather expediency.

The war began long ago in the beginning of times. We as believers and lovers of the WORD (GOD) should not take this lightly. Fast forwarding to this present day , we must not forget that Israel is an inheritance of the Lord, Egypt his people and Assyria the work of His hands (Isa 19:25, see below). The web of networks is already in full effect, hint the internet, social and mainstream media, television, etc.

It should not be too much of a mystery to know that there actually were giants in those days (Genesis KJV), whom manufactured these so-called great wonders in structure across the globe. There are also archaeological findings worldwide including various hieroglyphics on the walls (hewn in stone; gazith H 1496 — Lam 3:9) which tell of a people, a nation, and great categorical events.

Too many people are set-tripping on the wrong issues like race, money, status, class, etc…when they should be focusing on the coming of the LORD , which is not so afar off as we would want to believe. Yet, none of us know the precise day and or hour, but nevertheless HE said “BEHOLD” it will be quickly (KJV).

Every step of the Lord is thus ordered to his fashioning. Belief systems, although scattered into so-called religions, sects, cults, organizations, industries or the like, all point to this divine ordering, but sadly most are blinded of HIS TRUTH, in darkness.

GOD is displeased with those not of HIS elect and all will be dealt with HIS wrath. Faith therefore, is a subjective thing in that it does essentially depend upon whom or what one believes. History is mapped out to tie all of these so-called factions under the hand of the MOST HIGH GOD.

In fact, HIS WORD declares that the earth and everything in it is HIS, he created all things and while laws have been transcribed and rewritten are lawful over times not all things are expedient to HIM because nevertheless HIS will be done on earth as it is in heaven (KJV).

The masses would like that the elect to be dumbfounded about the battle formations and sounding of the trumpets. Some will be persuaded (fooled) and fall victim to the mindset of the enemy (mark of the beast).

An S.O.S. of Urgency: GOD Always Calls Many Recruits!
Recruiting Is Taking Place. Are You Ready?
There is and has always been, an urgency…a call to those who have long since passed basic training is being sounded to ready the recruits. It time to access spiritual interpretation, perception, empathy, and comprehension about the wrath of God. It is serious business! Must we never forget GOD is a jealous ONE who will not tolerate the gods of pride, idolatry, lusts of the eyes and flesh, vanity and/or the like to be elevated (glorified) above HIM, the great I AM.
GOD does not tempt us! This is Satan’s task in his temporary princedom of this world. Nevertheless, GOD will allow our faith to withstand the many tests (as soldiers-in-training). for the final showdown Revelation i.e. remembers Job 1:7-8 &1 Peter 5:8).
Do not forget MANY are called. Will you be of the FEW who answers?
It is not a race of speed but that of perseverance via faith, the only pleasurable measure of which we have with GOD as who we are in Christ –an inheritance.
“And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comes thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, from going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect, and an upright man, one that fears God, and eschews evil”

WATCH & PRAY…
because just as there are vast blessings from GOD, we should be mindful that there are also curses which follow deaf ears and disobedience to HIS statutes which are very much part of the oracles of God which shall be carried out, with not one jot or tittle remaining unfulfilled –Matthew 5:18 . 
GOD sent out the S.O.S. to save our S.O.U.L. Consequently, the devil attempts to mimic the distress signal and desires to sink our souls into the pits of hell along with him and the fallen. We must die (succumb) to these subtle seductions (beguiling) of monetary wealth, lavish affluence or teeming ideal of what mimics spiritual prosperity –i.e. the opulent seductions into idolatry, wantonness, vanity, pride, greed or gluttony, envy, jealousy, hate (haters). We must seek a more fulfilling swag. We have to veil ourselves in the safety of undying love. (Canfield, 2012).

We are merely sharing this image and documentary video message for educational and awareness purposes because we both identify and empathize from experience with this type means of financial living. It hits home personally because it is a reality of how much of a struggle my path is towards financial freedom with financial security as a primary long-term goal. “It’s hard out here, but L.I.F.E. ~Living In Faith Everyday teaches us adaptation, perseverance, patience, forgiveness, and develops a countenance for various pains, which in my journey has been mostly financial crises struggling to keep head above water, among others. I too am an American Express SERVE cardholder since 2013, among others. (Canfield, L., 2014).

[I put up some information online about pay-day loans, car title loans, check cashing companies and so on and I was surprised at all the people who were affected, knowing people who have done this. The comment that I found the most was “stop living above your means”. [sic] Well, let me just say, you really should see the video that I narrated for American Express Serve. It’s called #Spent. I’ll post the link at the bottom, but I want to tell you why you should see it. Most people who find themselves in this situation are not living above their means, they are living by any means necessary. [sic] Again, to all those who think people use these services because they live above their means, think again. Watch this documentary. You’ll see. And to all my dreamers, keep fighting.
