Darkness
Darkness (without using flash)

Light (w/ flash) a caption

The pics taken and shown (left & right) are of the same room space…what struck me as odd was that it was daytime and although some outside light was visible via the curtains in my unlit bedroom, the left picture showed as pitch dark when taken without the flash on. On the other hand, with flash turned on, the darkness was near invisible, though still present. Now in John 1:5-9, our FATHER encourages us to over-stand that although both occupy the same space & time only one is made known via bearing witness (e.g. use of camera’s flash) via Faith.

“And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world”

(John 1:5-9 )

One may now see how perhaps darkness doesn’t even know it’s not alone until the light shines forth: it merely is stumbling thru life.  shine-with-boldness

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:7).

Whenever we are void of understanding [knowledge of the holy one; ergo set apart]; we are often wandering and stumbling thru the dark. Just as in the beginning God has to command the light in us,”To Be”…

  1. Be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.
  2. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
  3. Be ye holy; for I am holy
  4. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
  5. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

“The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble”

Proverbs 4:19

“The entrance of thy words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple”

Psalm 119:130

LIFE began with the Word

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day” (Genesis 1:1-5).

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them”

2 Corinthians 4:4

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid”

Matthew 5:14

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life”

John 8:12

According to Public and Subjective Study of Opinion(s):

Coming out of the dark into the marvelous light means exposure to certain truths which aren’t always easy to swallow but necessary for growth and to show forth the image of God in which we were created…

FATHER encourages us to over-stand that although both occupy the same space and time, only one is made known via bearing witness by Faith.

We have a duty to be bearers of that light since the fall of Lucifer. [Proverbs 16:32 & 29:22 / John 1:6-9].

Metaphysically, darkness exposes an undeveloped capacity via lack of LOVE (GOD). Whether this lack of love be for a person, place, or thing; it is mostly of deficiencies of SELF.  A lack of self-control, for example; is said to be “significant of spiritual darkness in personality, which incites troubles” (author unknown, 2017).

Our naivete is not inexcusable because we are to growing in the kingdom mind, walking in TRUTH, no matter how ugly it may get at times. ~Ecclesiastes 3

Spiritual Growth:

Being illuminated or enlightened, we are to become holy as coming to the fruition of kingdom-mindedness. This means separating ourselves from sin as much as possible, so we can let shine forth, the image of God, in which we were created. ~Genesis 1:1-4

Another deficiency of self is sabotage via unforgiveness…  Please see our subsection entitled, “Latest Commentaries” on Forgiveness or by clicking here

In the Spirit of L♥ve:

Love is the image of God, in which we were created; Just as Christ is known as having no greater love than to have lay down his life for us that we too have access to FATHER via a blood covenant. An example of a blood covenant can be seen with the marriage supper or sacred union. However, unkind, unloving, unfriendly attitudes and insensitivity to others’ needs are not of the image of God——A true image of God is us being more concerned for others than we are of ourselves. If we cheat ourselves out of the complete light, it is because we are either lacking, coveting or gluttonous over something in the flesh (darkness). We must continue in prayer to our Holy Creator and Father about it so it will be revealed unto us…for it is only in Spirit that we find true clarity. ~2 Thessalonians 3:16

Spirit moves the mind past the infraction, as Truth frees us from the burdens and yokes tied to that knowledge (infraction) via a now ever present foreknowledge of unseen evidence by faith. When we know better, we do better right? ~James 4:17

Puzzled

Posted on Updated on

“And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What say thou of thyself? He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. And they which were sent were of the Pharisees. And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizes thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet” (John 1:21-25)?

daily-meditations2017iepmartworkSometimes in life we come upon moments or experiences where life seems puzzling. Things could be going well and then suddenly without warning, things change or do not seem to fit——Puzzling.  This is when we should listen  for and trust FATHER’s voice more.

~the Messenger

Puzzled?

We know to be puzzled is to be in a perplexing state of mind, but we also know that this mind is ungodly because it is perhaps full of confusion—

Generally, confusion points to double-mindedness, which biblical points to instability. In the times when this type of instability pushes its way through, it is a call to refocus. We may need to move ourselves both physically and mentally in order to reach the desired spiritual inclination——meditation.

1 Corinthians 13:12

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Sometimes in life, incomplete puzzles show a lack of order and where there is discordance, all things spiritual are unaligned. Take a rock-bed (bedrock) for instance. While viewing it outwardly, we may not see its fundamental purpose, as it seems too small or minuscule to the outer layers or edifices it sits upon. Yet, it serves as the provisional foundation for every layer which rests atop.

Christ, is considerably that solid rock, in which we need to steady the edifices of life (trials by faith) on which we experience from day-to-day and over prolonged periods of time. If we somehow, lose this grounding, we are offset on the course and perhaps need to renovate, reform or rebuild that relationship.

Matthew 7:24-27 Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that hears these sayings of mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Luke 6:47-49 Whosoever comes to me, and hears my sayings, and does them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and dug deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that hears, and does not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

A solidified relationship with Christ, affords us mediation in the heavenly courts. It grants us favor via inherited blessings and redeems us from undue or sometimes unnecessary burdens. ——Lamentations 2:14; Exodus 6:6-7; Luke 11:46 and Matthew 23:4.

As we learn to listen to our inner man (CHRIST), we hear GOD by faith and receive guidance into truths as how to approach or configure the pieces in our life’s puzzles. ——Romans 10:17; 2 Corinthians 3:3 & 5:19-20;  Galatians 5:1; 2 Timothy 1:9; Ephesians 1:3; 2:5-7 & 5:2.

2 Corinthians 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Sometimes it takes quiet, calm and stillness to receive directions as to how to carefully and properly positions all the pieces to the puzzled life.

~the Messenger

“From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I” (Psalm 61:2).
