WE THANK GOD FOR THIS MINISTRY’S VESSEL…

Sharing our Founder’s Testimonial & Requesting Intercessory or Other Philanthropic Support

We dedicate this testimonial/donation project to help sow support for the artistic endeavors of our Founder to celebrate accomplishments of being faithful over few, as God is continuing to make room for her to rule over much of the gift(s), He has bestowed upon her hands by contending faith.

17352567_429610130710903_6462764689599298655_n

For a little over eight years, our founder has been seeking to bring her vision (dream) to reality. With some success,  some of her dream(s) as well as she, have grown. While doing philanthropy within her small community, she branched out into the social media community with her then small business endeavors as well as via this prayer and biblical study ministry {Survivors thru Christ}.

She faced crisis around 2013, losing finances to complete her medical regime in addition to not being able to afford the tuition for the last two courses towards a psychology degree, which she sought online while maintaining the Dean’s List.

A year later, having sold her car to make do all while recovering from immobility via past associated disorders, she again started working from home as an independent contractor via varied writing services and as child caregiver.

It was enough to support her until last year in March 2016, after what was called “a great flood” in her city, that she lost almost all of her earthen possessions such as her business [including office equipment/supplies], household furnishings and goods for her home of twenty-one plus years, which included three bedrooms/kitchen/ living room/bathroom—— plus other clothing, important memorabilia and personal items of sentimental value. FEMA awarded her three thousand six hundred dollars to replace all that was lost, then denied her appeal for more assistance. For the next ten months, she stayed in-home during mold remediation/renovations and working complex hours with little to no rest via WAH (work at home) and the continuation of the STC-TSG ministry; just before additional duress of down-sizing. Since then via faith, she has maintained contentment with such as she had left or has remaining via prayer and with hope for a better tomorrow.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry” (Habakkuk 2:3).

During these events both her gifts and talents have been either mishandled under distress, handled with ill-intent by others and/or negatively exploited. Yet, she has stayed the course with her mind on the Lord and pressing forward.

16195815_406042639734319_9190590543068551717_n

Now, in 2017, she has been moving in another direction to regain from her losses. She has begun to refocus on her artwork, poetry and writing; more as the days goes by. She very recently has experienced even more delay. She tried and failed [denied employment] at general career/job searches per her field of knowledge and experience in the general labor force——due having been immobile for four to five years and working from home for herself since 2009, also due many changes for new work requirements. Her present goals now include:

  • Advancing the IEPM | STC-TSG Group Ministry by raising funds to re-equip home office/Art studio
  • Acquiring Work –Independent Contractor for hire via writing services or other
  • Acquiring Affordable Health & Dental Care ~holistic therapy
  • Acquiring Personal Transportation ~need for a personal / business vehicle
  • Acquiring Bedroom & Living Room Furniture for her new single room unit ~she desires a bed, sofa and coffee table
  • Producing & Promoting Her Personal Line of Artistry
  • Possibly Finishing Psychology Educational Endeavor to become an Marriage & Family Therapist/Counselor

I am so thankful to know who I am in the Lord. One can’t imagine the hell another may have to endure with each new level walking in the spirit of the LORD. God has shown me how to to be serious about my soul.

In Thought Quotes:
When the bible mentions “the trials of our faith working patience”….wow! Patience via man’s tradition is an undisclosed; sometimes incessant, waiting period.

Subsequently, spiritual patience however, is submissively trusting and confiding everything in and to the MOST HIGH GOD. The same POWER via love that sits us down also always picks us up.

I have found out the importance of hearing the gist of matters out, fleeing wrongful chatter as much as possible, and acknowledging the LORD in everything I do. We hear people say “the devil” pertaining this, that and/or the third on some of everything. Truth be told is the flesh [darkness] that surrounds my soul and spirit [light] is the biggest devil I have had to face, confront and/or fight. Jesus [Yahshua] the Word made manifest in the flesh, the same of which, dwelt among men; met and conquered death, has  been grafted on and become the formed light of my heart, mind, soul and spirit. Howbeit, plenty of people have tried to dissuade me from letting my light shine: They say don’t talk to me about god, don’t preach god to me, don’t mention god every other sentence, can you talk without mentioning god in everything? I was guilty of the same error myself once, too. Yet, I have learned that what comes out is what’s within. I am not perfect nor ashamed No…not  perfect, no one is. Yet, this confirmed for me of how much of me, Yahshua consumes or utilizes. Again, but GOD! Hallelujah.  2 Timothy 1:12 | Romans 1:16 .

daily-meditations-wakeup2016_2017Most of the world’s living, have experience sickness in some form or other at least once. While speaking with an informed source, I’ve found that when we consume sick food such as animals or genetically modified organisms present in most foods and non-organic plants and/or vegetables today; we run the risk of introducing even more parasitic environments in our own body. I say more because the body contains certain innate mechanisms to fight off disease.  What’s amazing is that Yah gave us several ways in which we can experience healing. As a survivor of Chronic Fibromyalgia, Cancer, Colitis /Crohn’s among others, I have found aroma and herbal therapy to overall healthier life, mind, body, and soul.

~the Messenger

3 John 1:2

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers.

i-think-of-peace-toward-you

Our creator wishes above all else that we all are successful and healthy as shown in above passage. So why are so many people and/or things sick? We took a transcendental approach to answer this. First, Proverbs 23:7, tells us that “as we think so are we” (Para KJV).

Mind (mentally):

What’s the first thing most of do when we sneeze, cough, have a sudden pain or ache of any sorts?

We immediately assume “we’re coming down with something or are sick”. Another example of how we are matriculated via the mind to introduce sickness or illness in our minds and especially at that initial doctor’s visit, is the age old “chief complaint or CC”. This is where the doctor has an intake personnel such as triage nurse to gather information from us of symptomatology [i.e.the set of symptoms characteristic of a medical condition or exhibited by a patient, n.d.].  peace-always-by-all-means

We know that depending on our psyche, we can sometimes withhold pertinent information due fear we have presumed before the visit as worse than perhaps what it {illness, pain, other complaint}. Without getting to biological or scientific, the body [physical and spiritual] was designed by the creator to self heal with the proper courses of action. the-lord-requires-of-thee

First, we remove unnatural instincts, rebuke or cast down doubtful disputations, which arrive in the form of spirits of inhibition or hesitation. This spirit works with other spirits to drive us towards unfounded fear of the unknown. We never know what causes all this diffidence or do we? We think so.

stir-up-the-giftThe first indicator to misalignment with our creator will most often have a significant manifestation. Ergo a sign. For instance, we assume a sneeze is an alert to allergy as do we we a runny nose to a cold or flu, and so forth. Subjectively, they are signs; but not of sickness so to speak, but more of a call to prayer and for the administering of healing via refreshed anointing. ◊ James 5:14-16 ◊ we-love-him-because-he-first-loved-us

What does Yah tell us to do about it?

  1. Make the call: call for the elders of the church
  2. Receive the anointing: let them pray over him anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord
  3. Pray in Faith with thanksgiving: the prayer of faith shall save the sick,
  4. Receive the restorative healing: the Lord shall raise him up

It is not coincidental that following this methodology; there is a request for us if we “have committed sins, Yah will forgive us” {more  later on this}. We are instructed to “confess our faults one to another, and pray one for another, that we may be healed” (James 5:15-16, Para KJV).  let-it-be-healed

Why do we suppose this same passage then and lastly mentions that “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much”?

  1. If the effect of faith in Our Heavenly Father’s law is not applied to our prayer its abominable… Proverbs 28:29
  2. If the commune with the Lord is not heartfelt or sincere as in confident of who Yah is; of what we’re asking or via a righteous man, it stagnates or ceases to flow because it is amiss… James 4:3

Body (Earthen Vessel & Ethereal Temple)

Did God give us any sound instructions on healing for the body? Yes.

  • Genesis 1:29, says: Every herb bearing seed upon the face of all the earth and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat
  • Genesis 9:3-5, says: Every moving thing that lives shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.

1 Corinthians 10:31

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Here is a list of other biblical healthy things to eat or make use for bodily health

  • Green Herb for meat…. Gen 1:30
  • Wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and fitches…Ezek 4:9
  • No longer water, yet a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities….1 Tim 5:3
  • Hyssop for cleanse or purification. Ps 51:7

Psalms  104:14-15

He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; And wine [that] makes glad the heart of man, [and] oil to make [his] face to shine, and bread [which] strengthens man’s heart.

WHAT or WHOSE SEED ARE YOU SOWING

Posted on

IEPM_STCBNM_Salutations_10252014_Luke8.10.11KJVSowingAAFL

Greetings All!

May this day be one of excitement and wondrous confirmation of seeds sown. May we continue to rejoice and be glad in it.

This message came to me some days ago because I have noticed how very often people forfeit memory of the seed <-> sower properties. I have seen folk scurrying about attempting to make things happen for themselves after petitioning the Lord for the very things, I, too am guilty.

It dawned on me: ….

“It doesn’t compute nor does it align with faith”

How can we ask God for things or cast HIM our cares then without notice renege on it?

If we believe HIS WORD to be the actual Truth, which it is, then shouldn’t we align everything with the measure of faith seeds given us. I think this is why I relate to life as living in faith everyday. How wonderful it is… that His Word supports the idea of cultivating or growing in grace from faith to faith, hence plenteous seed.

To embrace this fact; constitutes that since the metaphoric mustard seed is so tiny it simply justifies for me that coupled within our individual hands, we can hold many. That is a whole lot of planting.

Since we can only increase our faith through the hearing of His Word, it just makes sense to study abroad. I do not know what or how the scriptures manifest towards others but each time I read them they come alive more and more with differing meaning for various occasions or situations. HE speaks volumes to me through the inerrant WORD. There is always something there which defines, resembles, or ministers love, chastisement, peace, joy, health, strength, hope, help, more.

I’ve found the truth of how the trying of our faith works patience as well. GOD is so awesome! He answers us in yes and amen and His timing. That time through patience is where we adapt to waiting on HIM via staying power of trust and confidence. When we let go or walk away from that confidence, then we prolong the already answered yes and amen.

Therefore, I am learning to pay more attention to the faith seeds I have been gifted and praying earnestly to nourish them in love, deed, and word. God is infallible and when we opt to allow Him to move in our life issues, they are thus perfected through Him. (Phil 4:7-13)

TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOREVER & EVER ∞

Shalom & Blessings!

Word for today is SOWING

“In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knows not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good. Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun: But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that comes is vanity”

(Ecclesiastes 11:6-8 KJV).

Sowing is planting.

Actually, this can be either beneficial or detrimental given the seed (crop), time (ground. weathering & cultivation) and harvest (the yield). While this earth still revolves, throughout the seasons and as nights greet the dawn of day, the sowing is perpetual.

There is no way for us to circumvent it, except perhaps to make sure the crops are good, fruitful towards the multiplication a good or a bountiful harvest in LOVE (GOD) and not thru vanities (what looks good on the shelves of the farmers’ markets).

Yes… I think is a nice perspective on it.

Shall we begin…

“While the earth remains, seed-time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22 KJV).

→Any good farmer, horticulturist or botanist can attest to the importance of good soil, fertilization, weathering, and rotation.

They may even be able to supply data on fermentation as well. This concept of sowing is metaphorically similar in that it takes all of these methods to cultivate our faith seeds.

Jesus said it only requires a small seed of faith…

  • Fertilized with CONFIDENCE

  • Planted in good soil (GOD’s GROUND of TRUTH)

  • Weathered by the storms (AFFLICTIONS)

  • Rotated (via PRAYER/PETITION) in BELIEF

…to ferment (INCITE BY FIRE TRIALS) the removal of mountains and trees.

◊ I’m going somewhere with this ◊

“And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you”

(Luke 17: 6 KJV).

“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you”

(Matthew 17:20 KJV)

WHERE DO THE SEEDS COME FROM?

Good question with a simple reply. GOD supplies the seeds liberally unto all and we need only reap the abundance (harvest) through cultivating our prayer, praise, gratitude, and reverence.

“Now he that ministers seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causes through us thanksgiving to God. For the administration of this service not only supplies the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you” (2 Corinthians 9:10-14 KJV).

HOW DO YOU RECOGNIZE WHERE EACH SEED GOES?

Again it is easy but first you have to KNOW WHERE TO PICK UP YOUR SEEDS. You pick up your seeds of faith via daily meditation and study from the WORD of GOD. Once obtained, the vision of hope [where the seeds go] becomes clearer in view via spiritual specs (EYES of UNDERSTANDING).

‪#‎SOWING‬

IEPM_STCBNM_Salutations_10262014Hebrews12.28.29KJVConsumingFire

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17)

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all” (Ephesians 1:18-23 KJV).

We must remember to monitor our pastures, fields, or gardens of dreams, hope, and petitions BE CAREFUL of CANKER WORMS (serpent workers) trying to devour our crops. Please search these scriptures for varying strengths of proper PESTICIDES…Sometimes we have to let the tares grow alongside our good crop but in due season bind them up and HE casts them away.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success”

(Joshua 1:8 KJV).

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babbling’s: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. And, let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity”

( 2 Timothy 2:15-19 KJV).

Now that we know

  • who provides the seeds;
  • where to pick them up,
  • where to plant them and
  • how to protect them…

We can CULTIVATE (INCREASE) them by allowing them to stand still in the soil or good ground (GOD) especially during difficult WEATHER, which assists us in ROTATION (turn the not so good ground over –HALLOWING or SANCTIFYING IT), FERMENTING (proper warming) & NOURISHING (proper care, water, pruning, etc) our seeds towards the exceeding abundant HARVEST (the expected end, evidentiary unseen substances of hope via blessings, favor, mercy, grace, joy, peace, health and prosperity).

Mark 4:8-13 | Romans 10:17 | Hebrews 11:1 | James 2:14-26 | Lamentations 3:22-23 | Psalm 27; 36:5; 89:1-33; 92:2 | Isaiah 11:5 & 25:1 | Hosea 2:20 | Luke 8

“And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred. And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables”

(Mark 4:8-13 KJV)?

WHAT SEED(S) ARE WE SOWING?

The process involves knowing the seed (WORD) and and ourselves (the sower). When we make time to get to know the SEED we have all the equipment, necessary towards cultivation of…

THE UNSPEAKABLE GIFT of GRACE FROM FAITH TO FAITH.

Luke 8 | James 5:16 | Matthew 4:4; 7:7-8 & 21:22 | Hebrews 11:6 | 1 Thessalonians 5:18 | 2 Corinthians 9:9-15 | 1 Timothy 6:12 | Romans 1:17 | Deuteronomy 8:3 |

“And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God” ( Luke 8:10-11 KJV).

RECOVERY for the BROKEN HEART: “L.I.F.E. is Living In Faith Everyday”

In response to a shared post…??? …I like a research challenge

I challenge myself daily to look at L.I.F.E. via Spiritual Specs.

L.I.F.E. is Living In Faith Everyday

This morning my son shared a post concerning a diagnosis on heartbreak. Broken Heart Syndrome: Medically referred…

"Broken heart syndrome was first described in the 1990s by Japanese physicians who observed that certain patients with heart attack-like symptoms had a left ventricle shaped like a fishing pot used to trap octopuses, the takotsubo pot. You may hear the condition described as Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy" ( Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions Foundation (SCAI), October, 2013).

The article he shared suggested “True Statement” by his account. So I decided it was worth a gander to research it and found the following shared post held some validity: (see image insert below for the shared post).

I decided to do a quick google search to evaluate my hypothesis: “Is is really a true statement?” . I have always taught my children to seek the truth of a matter rather than relying on hearsay for more reasons than one. Today, I am thankful that as an adult, it stuck with my youngest son, who coincidentally loves sharing things at random.

Nevertheless, the data that I found was not at all alarming when I placed on my spiritual specs to measure reliability, validity and/or valuation to the claim.

Turns out there is a medical condition which is often referred to as the broken heart syndrome. According to my study, I found that it initially is a causation from stress-induced cardiomyopathy or takotsubo cardiomyopathy (Mayo Clinic Staff, 2013).

Not to take away from the medical standpoint, but we Christians know all too well that stress is aspirit form of worrying whether directly or indirectly. We also know that worrying is a form of doubt when considering faith walks. Neither align with the will of GOD and/or HIS ultimate wish for us to prosper and be of good health (Para, KJV).

There was too much info to list in this blog as I would like to because of time restraints with permissions, therefore I am just sharing some supportive passages, some of a number of links I found on the broken heart syndrome and this image quote, I created with the use of the following Fotolia clip art from my Microsoft software. In the image I pose the question Can a broken heart heal or be mended? Then in indirect answer affirming that it can I list supportive scriptures as well. Please take the time to review some of the data shared below in hyperlink(s) or study up on the biblical passages within this blog post.

NEWIMAGEQUOTES2014_IEPM_STCTSG_cureforbrokenheart

We have to start speaking via the WORD; joy, health, happiness, worth, love, peace, tranquility, and/or victory over all of our circumstances in the name above every name, pleading the selfsame blood and dart-quenching fiery Holy Ghost Spirit over them as well in order that we build a zero or at the least for babes in CHRIST, a lowered tolerance for doubt which is a spirit form of fear, of which does not come from GOD (Para, KJV).

I deal with and have dealt with these spirits for over 35 years until I found out they were demonic assignments or attacks. They nearly killed me directly via suicidal and/or saturnine thoughts and/or attempts; and from a chemical imbalance and seizure episodes in the 90s. Currently, I exercise my faith, the power of the WORD (LOVE) in my life.

L.I.F.E. is Living In Faith Everyday

Do I still experience debilitating pains? Yes. Do I worry or stress over them? No. Since I stopped worrying and stressing over them, I have felt better internally, meta-physically and in some cases, bodily.
"Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof" (Matthew 6:34 KJV).
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose" (Romans 8:28).
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled"(2 Corinthians 10:3-6 KJV)

God Has Got it!

By LaSonya R Canfield White

ScripturalImageQuoteGreetingcard_IEPM_02242014_Colossians1_11_17KJV

GOD has got it!

We forget that God is the author of our life and that when we try to re-write his story (plan) for our lives it loses its credibility. When I think of the things God has done for me, I lose count. When I think of the places (situations) he has allowed me to convene, experience, and how He chastens me…I am obliged in saluting HIM.

In our lives, we will make mistakes but the beauty of making mistakes is that HE forgives and re-writes our story and all to receive HIS worthwhile Glory. I thank God for allowing growth through the errors of my way. Even when we think we are in control, GODs got it!

Hallelujah!

  • Those dreams we dreamed as child became edited with maturity. That special someone we thought we wanted to be with for the rest of our life (our choice & not God’s).
  • The heights you wanted to reach at a given time just before you backslid thinking stupidly that He had left (not his timing and again our choice).
  • The time when we felt like nothing had promise and life was a drag. moreover,
…All we did was just nag (this was the beginning of finding purpose for our place in life –Living In Faith Everyday.

Humility

Sometimes we have to travel so far down, in order to see how high we once were and visualize through spirituality the mountainous altitudes that possibility has introduced to our re-vision, those promising dreams. Although not necessarily, that we were high; but rather that we need to know our place under GOD’s direction.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”
(2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV).

The directions become…

  • newer
  • better
  • bolder
  • sounder
  • more spiritually centered
  • more serene
  • more abundant
  • more cheerful

God hears us speak, cry, moan, grunt, and even hears us gripe. He has a soft answer for our hurts and pain, and a profound or philosophical answer for our angers and fears.

“Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice”
(Psalm 55:17 KJV).

This answer is “LOVE” and through it, He tells us that:

  1. with Him all things are possible,
  2. only in our asking will we receive,
  3. the way we treat others is the way we want to be treated,
  4. the things we receive or the things in which we freely give,
  5. there will be times when things do not go as we want them,
  6. or things do not occur at the time that I want them,
  7. There will be times when anger will sit itself in our company.

However, when these things occur, We are to bring it to him with care through prayer. He voiced change, victory, motivation, determination, hope, faith, tolerance thru patience, and ultimately Love through proper positioning of HIM as head of our goings (life).

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16 KJV).

I finally see destiny and she is looking sharp fashioned with promise and praise!

  • No monetary value supersedes the wealth I have encountered as I knocked on the doors of peace, opportunity, happiness, tranquility, love and because HE holds the key; the doors were opening for me and the world with all their judgments and/or opinions cannot close them! Thank you Lord!
  • No monetary value can surpass or displace the clarity of sight I have received through my spiritual specs. For that which I seek…I find.
  • No monetary value or system can provide for me the riches untold in which increase my vivacity for life; for what I ask and believe in faith (working towards), he freely gives via charity and love.
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” (Matthew 7:7 KJV).

The journey has shown me that karma exists and that if I put out the things I destined or desire, those things will I gain be it bad or good. If knowing this is not enough, I have learned that AGAPE (Godly love) encompasses all fallacious replicas of love in my life. I am equipped and the shoe fit… truth of my life is GOD’s GOT IT!

“RISE ABOVE EVERY STORM on THE ANGELIC WINGS of HEAVEN…just another confirmation on weathering the storms” ~LaSonya

From Time Ago: A Poem Share

Journal of Poetic Meditations (c) 1995 by LaSonya Canfield on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 10:23pm

Weathering the Storms

Journeys thru rivers of envy…Searching for that which sent me

Floods of jealousy to wade thru…With destiny far from view

In search of this one place called Zion…With hopes for the Deity on whom one may rely on

Fighting the currents of up streams of lust…To physically and mentally abusive thrusts

Crossing boundaries of femininity’s maturation…Innocence stolen, stolen over and over!  creating devastating isolation

Dreams present though seemingly unreachable…Necessity is strong in reaching Zion’s temple

Imagine giving life thru thunders of heartaches and pain…As realization of strength thru motherhood reign

Listen!  to the earthquakes of rhythm without sound…

Visualize the demise..

See tribulation without sight blinded by the lightning’s of rhythmless emotions of light…

The hilltop nearing and hearts endearing…

Roaring whirlwinds of romance domineering…

BOOM!!  flashes lightning giving sound …to destiny however profound

Clouds of doubt are pouring… as emotions are soaring

Rains drown laughter…Sunshine thereafter

[About the poem: Poem speaks of abuses that I had gone through yet THROUGH FAITH, LOVE, HOPE, THE HOLY-GHOST & HEAVENLY FATHER, I overcame the intended defeat of the enemy. You never know what kind of storms another has to weather, but security is found in knowing WHO navigates the tossed and driven winds, oceanic waves & HE that REIGNS governs the rains]

PSALM 27 KJV

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.  For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. Now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord. Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When thou said, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek. Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.  I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

When Strangers Are Angels Unawares

Posted on Updated on

How many times have you encountered people with unfeigned faith about you and your probable success?

These are the people who do not know you personally, yet they have the most profound input, impact, and outlook for your life and its probability of success as seen through their eyes of understanding of faith.

“I thank God, whom I serve from my ancestors with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day; Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy; When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also” (2 Timothy 1:3-5 KJV).

Well, that put me in thought on gratitude. Rarely do we have the occasion to thank those who in private utterance or prayers had you in mind.

Grandmothers for instance are a good example. They have an unusually avid discernment for youth based on life’s experiences. Currently, youth are a hard task of convincing on the likelihood of unwanted repercussions for their misbehavior, misgivings, or collectively, their misunderstanding on dangers ahead.

Think about it for a moment, Grandmothers of past times had approximately three to four decades of experience ahead of today’s grandmothers and often were more Christ centered to the tune of always interceding for others or looking on the brighter side of life via storytelling of hard times past.

This brings me to the nucleus of this little conjecture. That is, to say thanks to one of my readers currently in prison, for his endearing, words of encouragement and prayers. We never know the impact we have on another’s life. Moreover, in that statement contra wise, we never know the effect of the impact others will have on us.

GRATITUDE

I am thankful for all those who have supported my writing ambitions. Just like any writer, artist, proprietor, or the like losses are probable but perseverance is the motivator. Collaborations are now in the making and for that, I am truly thankful for the success however acute it may seem, my initial dream accomplished.

THE DREAM

Wanting to be a published author, I put off writing for public for many years due fear. In school, experiencing intimidation from teachers, friends or classmates about my imagination (via writing), there were plenty naysayers. Even after I decided to ignore the naysayers, and to keep writing, I never shared my writings abroad. A fire in 1987 destroyed the gist of my journals and/or poetry.

Those years would soon pass. Soon after, my life took on a more spiraling turn and THE AUTHOR writing my life gave me the co-authorship to share it for HIS GLORY. I prayed often to see things I had been going through via HIS PENMANSHIP. Additionally, I asked for guidance about the management of these experiences and situational influences. What a powerful prayer is the asking for “Understanding”, the answers came often in the form of whispers. I relate the  WHISPERS as “Wielding his inspiring spirit via prayer, empathy, rejuvenation, and scriptures” (White, A.N., 2012).

I had never written a book let alone had one published so the idea of holding an actual published version of my writing was overwhelming and somewhat scary, especially when writing transparently about my life. All I know is that THE AUTHOR (Jesus Christ) kept prompting me to write, so I obeyed. At the turn of medical maladies, which would leave me immobile for a while, writing was all I could do to cope. I had been speaking with one publisher for several years on a regular basis about the project, while at the same time attempting to add writers (family/friends) to the project. Unfortunately, no one took me seriously so I got a lot of shrugs or negations. I procrastinated and put the notion out of my head (still journalizing daily though).

Well fast-forwarding to the present, my work is viewable in a softcover paperback entitled, WHISPERS. It is a tell-all about my life experiences (particularly battles) with spiritual warfare, filled with poetic meditations and the GLORY of the Lord for fighting them for me. Most of what you read within this blog is synonymous to the aforementioned non-traditional softcover books. That was the writing dream.

“Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour” (Titus 1:1-4 KJV).

THE SUPPORT

Sometimes our faith is not as alive (moving) as we assume. Without thought, as to whether or not the publications would sale or for that matter gain any attention, I had published two books. I just wanted someone other than familiar people [friends/family] to hear about how amazing God is and/or was in my life. I had sold two books that I know about for sure because I purchased them myself. Funny huh… Not really when you think of all the financial hardships, I have been facing with medical and housing costs. Never mind the few buyers who purchased [most likely read them] but returned the books. Fast-forwarding to this present moment, where the dream gives back.

HOW THE DREAM GAVE BACK…

I received a letter from a reader, which was awe-inspiring. What is interesting is that I have not even heard his testimony about how he is as full of Love for God (praises) especially since he is an inmate.

An excerpt from the letter reads….

June 2, 2014

Ms. Canfield

How are you doing young lady?….   Please forgive me for being in your business (personal). Jonathan gave me the whole Jpay letter so that I can read your message to me for myself, sooo…

You know La Sonya, after, reading that and having just read your Whispers book, I’ve come to realize…you’ve been through hell! With the boys & men whom have physically & sexually abused you to having kids with medical (health) problems. Ohh the stress, the anger, the hate, & the resentment towards men ~~especially the baby’s daddies who weren’t there to help you. It’s a wonder you didn’t turn to women for comfort and start doing the gay thing for the rest of your life. That just shows how rooted you are in Christianity…because God created Adam & Eve, not Eve and Edith.

With that, please allow me to say that (LaSonya) ALL YOUR PRAYERS you have prayed are about to be answered. Everything you’ve ever asked God for…Blessings are about to rain down upon you young lady, because God is Good your request to be financially well off…Done! You being a successful Novelist… Done!

The soul mate you seek…True Love… Breathless… Genuine… Father FigureHe will Listen to you Always & Love you unconditionally. He will be a serious Bread Winner for y’all’s household. [sic] So my advice to you Ms. LaSonya Canfield is please don’t give up in your search for happiness. Be a good judge of character as you meet new friends. Next time you’ll be able to sense the genuineness of The One. Stay prayed up…God works In Mysterious Ways. Amen.

Don’t Worry Everything’s Going To Be Okay

I know it hasn’t been easy but you’ve done a pretty good job of hanging in there and taking things day by day… And I want you to remember; Things are going to get better soon. And because you are the Special Person you are I don’t think it’s going to be long. I (your new friend) want to give you every bit of Love & Encouragement I possibly can. Believe in yourself because you really are Wonderful. And don’t forget that beyond the clouds that sometimes get in your way, the sun is shining just for you..and everything is going to be okay.

Well LaSonya I shall close for now, but never the Love I now have in my heart for you. A strong pure Godly woman who has survived the struggle. Truly your strength is an inspiration to me. May our Lord & Savior Bless you always. And please do write whenever you can

Sincere Yours

Jerome

That has to be the most amazing letter I have ever read. It made me think of the unfeigned faith in 2 Timothy 1:3-5 KJV where Paul exuded Timothy’s unfeigned faith in prayer, taught by his grandmother Lois. It made me remember as always how much of a praying grandmother I had. She told me to read the Holy Bible, asking God for understanding, to look to the hills for whence comes my help, and to trust God and know that all of my help comes from HIM. I did and still do to this day.

I thank GOD for unfeigned faith to continue my journey in this life… Living In Faith Everyday

“May we always remember that someone is praying the FATHER on our behalf…Thank Yah Jesus Yeshua Messiah Christ” ~La Sonya

“Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25 KJV).

“Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us” (Romans 8: 34 KJV).

BROKENNESS:

Video Posted on Updated on

So grateful that I pray & God Answers Jn 16:22-24… I had been stressing over whether or not I am right to trust or support others, their businesses and/or causes when rarely it seems the gesture(s) are non-reciprocated. I had been on an emotional rollercoaster wanting to give up at times. HE showed me the selfishness in others as well as the selfless.

  • Where I am saddened, he lifts me with joy (Rom 15:13).
  • Where I became angry & desiring to sin by lashing out, he said “I Got You” (Rom 12:19).
  • Where I wanted to give up, he said “keep it moving” (1 Cor 15:58).
  • Where I lack control in my frustration, and call out to HIM, he assures me “you are forgiven” (1 Jn 1:9, Eph 1:7, Dan 9:9).

I used to tell people very often of my struggles, but now I just tell who can do something about ’em ~My Father and family in Christ.

God confirmed something very real to me earlier today from something shared on Facebook (Personal Communication, Carole Meloni BA 0512/2014) and that is…

I really love the Japanese Kintsugi (Kintsukuroi) Art correlation to the biblical truth where we receive strength via endurance, patience, tolerance, and development while we experience physical and mental weaknesses, disappointment, intimidation, abuse, pain, anxiety, standing steadfastly in various areas of need, but taking pleasure in the power of Christ (Para, 2 Corinthians 12:9-11 KJV).

THE BEST DAY in MY BROKENNESS
THE BEST DAY in MY BROKENNESS

The Japanese Kintsugi/Kintsukuroi Art basically redefines the broken vessel with gold. Gold has a “fire trying” process towards purity (Paul Pusteinik Para, 2014).

This photo was retrieved from public domain via a VERY UPLIFTING WORDPRESS BLOG and all rights to it belong to original creator(s) (Paige Bradley ~EXPANSION) and are expressly in no form attributable to STC TSG or IEPM. It is neither an exact replica of the aforementioned Japanese Kintsugi (Kintsukuroi) Art Practices. Yet, in so many words that a picture may tell, it is full of expression, which I assimilate to as a broken vessel of which GOD designed wonderfully, flaws and all. (Ps 139:14 KJV).

*The Japanese art of Kintsugi, or Kintsukuroi, repairs broken pottery with seams of gold. This repairs the brokenness in a way that makes the object even more beautiful than it was prior to being broken. It is a long and difficult process, but the results are treasured by those around it. Uplifting and hopeful, it is an inspiring metaphor for dealing with the times we feel broken in life. It’s a reminder to find the gold to mend ourselves (Paul Pusteinik, 2013).

Our faith as Christians or believers of Christ, has to be tried with the Holy Ghost fire, which encourages patience and empathy and all through strength and LOVE (GOD) ~James 1:2-3.

Lord knows I am in a period of “Make Do Praise” as spoken of in the sermon “Everything Mother Had to go Through” (Wright III, R. 05/12/2014, via ustream). I may not look like what I have been, or am going through, BUT GOD!!!! Hallelujah.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER of CHRIST …
IJS! IAMNRU! ~the Messenger

I am merely sharing this Byron Cage video and Paige Bradley photography as a portion of the inspiration that I received from the Spirit on persevering through the broken areas on this journey of L.I.F.E. Living In Faith Everyday.

Both the song and the imagery speak volumes of strength and courage to me. I left home thirty years ago at age 16, already a single mom of one and expecting. Many years have gone by since then as with many difficulties as mentioned above. Now mother of six adult children (all away from home), experiencing medical maladies and financial distress, I still strive to make due. Somehow I never saw me reaching age 35, let alone forty-six BUT GOD!!! I cannot even expound upon how desperately I’ve longed that my life would amount to purposefulness and how even now at this fortieth decade, I still feel broken at times. However, when looking back at my experiences and correlating them to scripture, this Japanese Art form, and this song, the purpose is so much more VISIBLE via Spiritual Specs. Thank you FATHER for such clarity that it is not in vain.

I am merely sharing this image and video link without intention of copyright infringement because they both fit my mood today.

You know people can sometimes take our kindnesses for granted, misuse and/or abuse our hearts and tests our wills, but to GOD be the Glory for the trying of our Faith.
